LETTERS: I could have been campaigning but I went to A&E

Published: 27 January, 2017

• I WAS due to help on a stall supporting the Labour Party NHS campaign but I went to Accident & Emergency at 11am and was registered, seen by the triage nurse, examined, X-rayed and strapped up all within two hours. But then I had only a fractured toe.

I just hope I don’t need any worse treatment than that before the health service is rescued from US free trade deals, TTIP etc. Back the campaign.
