AS a young verse writer he played host to celebrated poets Laurie Lee, Ted Hughes and Stevie Smith at sell-out events over the years at the Town Hall, Hamp­stead.

Now poet and publisher Jeremy Robson is back with a new Poetry and Jazz evening, this time at Ivy House, North End Hampstead, on Wednesday, November 9, at 8pm.

The event will include readings by Dannie Abse, Alan Brownjohn and Jeremy Robson, with music by the Michael Garrick Trio.
